Qaidah Course
This is a 15 - 20 week course approximately with 30 minute , usually taken with another subject to make up an hour. Please note the speed at which one may take the course varies from one student to another.
What to Expect
Practical implementation of reading through the qaidah, identifying basics of letter pronunciation and word formation all from the correct Makharij points, very effective when learnt with the Makharij Course, to find out more in shaa Allaah please click here.
Aims of the course
- To apply the correct makharij of the letters.
- Recognising the harakat and how to apply them to the letters.
- How to read joint words.
- Application and recognition of Medd.
- Introduction to Basic Tajweed Rules in a practical setting.
- How to stop on different endings of words.
- How to recite Huroof Al-Muqatt'a/letters at the beginning of Surahs usually with the elongated medd.
- How to recite short sentences correctly. - All in preparation for The Quraan.

We use the Qaaidah Nooraaniyyah as it is presented in a manner and order to be effective with children and many Salafi Organisations make benefit from it. We also do open the opportunity for usage of the Qaaidah Baghdaadiyyah for the more advanced students.
