What to expect
Structure of the Course
About a 10 to 15 week course for Part A, and another 8 to 10 week course for Part B, and this is based upon 1 half an hour lesson weekly.
Please note duration of course could vary depending on the pace of the student, especially if more time is taken to do the course weekly.
The aforementioned course can be taken in the following ways:
Final Exam which is an Oral to hear the student say the letters, alongside definitions of the exiting points in Shaa Allaah.
The Aim is as follows:
The Makharij Course are tiered into three levels and they are:
1. The Basic Level, which is usually for people who have never practiced the Makharij of letters and young children in shaa Allaah can usually start here also; Each session is 30 minutes and focuses primarily on the practice of letters and the visualisation of the existing points with the free course information of the letters and the applied practical explanations of the Attributes of the Letters.
2. The Intermediate Level; Older children and can take this level when there has been some practice of the exiting points. This level includes all of that which is in the the Basic Level course, but it also has a more comprehensive explanation and presentation in writing defintions and practicality, and so each session can be one hour.
3. The Higher Level, for one who is able and want a more comprehensive understanding. This level includes all of what is in the Intermediate Level course but it also has the Siffatul-Huroof/Attributes of the Letters.
Please note one can move from one level to the next, and it would only be required to add on the additional knowledge to be taught and include it into what had been already learnt.
All the aforementioned levels mentioned can all be taken with exams and grading, or as a course in which you are awarded a certificate of attendance.

What is the Siffatul Huroof Studies? The Answer is as follows:
This pertains to exemplifying and explaining the Attributes that each Arabic letter has, and hence one can consolidate their correct pronunciation when speaking Arabic and reading The Quraan. These classes are 30 minutes long and are usually taken alongside with the Makharij Course and the duration of the course is for a similar length as the Makharij Course. Please note this is for older children who can write down more comprehensive explanations.
